  1. Here is an example of what your posted lyrics should look like: Notice that each verse is typed in a new stanza and the chorus ("coro") is clearly identified.

    You conjugate
    like someone doesn’t speak
    Yeah, you need some help
That is why we are here

    Are you ready now
    It is time
    Vámonos
Take off the end which is –AR

    Coro:
    Replace –AR with O,
    Which stands for the “yo”
    And next comes the “tú”
    Which ends in AS
“Él, ella, usted” replacement is A
    “Nosotros” is AMOS
    “Vosotros” is AÍS
    “Ustedes, ellos and ellas”
    All end in an AN

    See, it’s not that hard
    To change the end part
    It’s always the same
    And it ends in –AR

We used to be just like you
    Didn’t know
    Conjugated is changed
    Infinitive, regular

    You can learn over time
    How to conjugate verbs
All that you have to do is sing along

    Coro:
    Replace –AR with O,
    Which stands for the “yo”
    And next comes the “tú”
    Which ends in AS
“Él, ella, usted” replacement is A
    “Nosotros” is AMOS
    “Vosotros” is AÍS
    “Ustedes, ellos and ellas”
    All end in an AN

    And now that we’re done
    We’ve sung you this song
    It’s always the same
    When it ends in -AR

    Guess this means your ready
    To conjugate some verbs

    All we’ve said before
    We didn’t know much either
    And needed to learn more
    Said you wouldn’t learn then
    But here we are again

Coro: Cause the belong together now, yeah
When you add the now, yeah
You got to learn them all
    And use them too
My life (my life) would stop (would stop) without verbs

Now to get to the point
    How to conjugate
    Take off the ending
    Which is AR, then add
A correct ending to match the verb

Coro: Cause the belong together now, yeah
When you add the now, yeah
You got to learn them all
    And use them too
My life (my life) would stop (would stop) without verbs

Yo is O, tu is AS
    Ella, ellos, ustedes, is A
    Nosotros is AMOS
    El, ella, ustedes is S

    (16 counts of silence)

Ariel (comes in at 10 counts): I need help with all these “AR” verbs, can you help me now?

    Ya we’re gonna tell you
    all about how to
conjugate verbs, are you ready now?
First we’re gonna replace “AR” with “O”
    and that’s gonna make
    the ya ya “yooooooooo”

    Now we’re coming up to
    the pronoun tú
    Take off the A-R
    and add an A-S
    For él, ella, usted
    add an A
    That’s pretty easy, huh?

    Oh wait we forgot
    Nosotros is AMOS
    And the ellos and ellas
    and ustedes
    They all end in A-N
    Common now you try
    with vosotros don’t be shy
Take off the AR and add an ÁIS,
But not like the kind that you put in your Sprite.......

I hope you’re not too confused

    Conjugating verbs

You can conjugate for tu add as
You can conjugate for nosotros, jut add an amos
El, ella, usted all you do is add an a.

    Conjugatin' verbs on the weekend
Droppin' ars like slabs of bacon
    Addin' the appropriate endings
    o, as, amos, an, a.

    (Chorus)
    To conjugate
    Just do as we say

    Just do as we say

    Now that you can conjugate,
    got a request,
won't you teach it to others.

    Put o after yo,
    Then as after tu
    Put amos after nosotros,
Then add a to el, ella, or usted.
